This project was to create a new logo for my client. There were three version: the first one is colour logo - 2 pantone solid colours (no tonal value), full size and reduced version; the second one was black and white logo - half the size of the colour - no tonal valueThe last one was the reverse logo - a white version of the logo; half the size of the colourlogo was created with pantone solid C, with no RGB or CMYK colour in the logo. This project lasted one semester. There were many rounds to complete this logo. I learnt how to work with a new client and create a logo for them. There were stages that I had to perform listed as follow:I had to write a creative brief and send it to my client. After signing agreement, I started to sketch such as the first round of sketches: 30 number sketches, pencil only; The second round of sketches: 20 numbered sketchesThe third final round - digital: build in illustrator, black and white only, and show variations of type choices and positionsThe fourth final round - digital and colour: show the final two distinctly different versions of the logo, and show a variety of type choices and positions. Finally, I presented my logo in front of my client. I really enjoy this logo project because I learnt the procedure to work with a client and how to create a logo, and then applied it onto letterhead, envelopes and business cards. Most importantly, my professor and my classmate gave me their feedback. I improved step by step until completion. I am very confident about this project. My client used this logo for his own company outside Canada.
